A personal message to all of you from a friend who was among the forces that reached Mocha today: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. To all the free people of the world, From the proud shores of Mokha, I send you these words, imbued with the spirit of victory and dignity. What was achieved today was not merely the recovery of a cherished part of our land. It was, first and foremost, the fruit of the care of Almighty God, and then of the courage of the men of the Yemeni Armed Forces and the legendary steadfastness shown by every honorable and valiant resistance fighter and mujahid. To everyone who stood with us, and to every free person who supported our just cause and believed in our right to sovereignty and independence: today’s achievement is your achievement as well, and the setback suffered by the enemies of freedom is a defeat for all forms of oppression. We promise you that we will remain steadfast and true to our pledge, and that we will continue on the path of dignity until every inch of our Yemeni land is liberated. We will remain a source of support and solidarity for all the oppressed peoples of the world against the dark forces of evil. May you, and all free people everywhere, continue to stand in support of justice. From your brothers in the Republic of Yemen.”
