I'm an overnight success:
2011: Built a financial planning software while studying for the CFP
2012: Failed the CFP, software didn’t get backing & closed it down & went to work at Credit Suisse
2013: Left Credit Suisse to buy my family’s wealth management practice 48M in AUM
2014: Passed my CFP but didn’t have enough work hours to use it until 2015
2015: Started teaching classes on social security at SUNY Ulster. Lost my lease on the office space. Scrapped all my pennies together and borrowed money to buy an office space.
2018: Started the pod
2016-2026: Worked nights and weekends on my business.
2020: Future Rich was selected by NextAdvisor as one of the 10 Best Finance Podcasts for 2021
2023: Won Reader’s choice for Top Money Expert
2026: Now managing over $200 million AUM & Future Rich podcast is in its 8th season
