Thomas Aquinas on James 2:21 "When James says that a man is justified by works, he means that works are the effect and sign of a living faith, without which faith is dead and cannot justify." "Abraham’s faith was not merely an intellectual assent but a faith formed by charity, which led him to obey God’s command… His works were the fulfillment of his faith, not a cause apart from it." “When the Apostle says, 'We are justified by faith without the works of the law' (Romans 3:28), he does not exclude works that proceed from faith, but the works of the law as understood in their ceremonial or moral precepts apart from faith. James, on the other hand, speaks of works as the fruit of faith, without which faith is not genuine.” "When James says, 'Was not Abraham our father justified by works?' (James 2:21), he refers to the works that manifested Abraham’s faith, such as the offering of Isaac. Paul, in saying Abraham was justified by faith (Romans 4:2–3), refers to the faith by which he believed God, which was prior to and the root of his works." Do not be deceived. Our faith stems back to Abraham. Roman Catholicism does not change that. We agree with Thomas Aquinas

Please black men, let’s please stop following women It’s embarrassing to black men and the community
Can black men just come out as the true conservatives they are and stop being the only voting demographic that follows women for advice lol
22
Only black women say this Sane women who use family courts as the default option Not equal if a man has to go through court to see his child Not equal since a woman can abort her child without consequences but a father can’t give up his rights without consequences
Fathers already have equal rights.

Keep doing what you’re Doug and voting for who you’re voting for. Black community thanks you for your service

This was always my contention with orthodox You reject doctrine development and the papacy yet hold to icon veneration. Trying to claim union with Rome instead of union with the truth Same with Lutherans and apostolic succession and the true presence
The problem with the Orthodox position is they usually reject the idea of development of doctrine, so they have to maintain the ludicrous idea that apostles taught every single thing that constitutes later church teaching and practice.

This is the second person that has said White won. One was orthodox and said he was moving to reformed. This is the question Protestants ask Catholics and orthodox all the time: is it apostolic. Many deflect and speak about early church as if that qualifies
I watched the debate between Craig Truglia (@Craig_Truglia) and James White (@HwsEleutheroi), and White won it cleanly. I say this as a Catholic who values sacred art: Truglia hurt his own side. The question was whether icon veneration as defined by Nicaea II is apostolic. It was not whether early Christians had art in the catacombs. Of course they had art. The question was whether the apostles taught that you must kiss and bow before painted boards under pain of damnation. Truglia never proved they did. He tried to turn Galatians 3:1 into Paul holding up a physical crucifix, which has no connection to the Greek text. He called Peter's shadow in Acts a monochrome icon, which just sounded desperate. He leaned on Dionysius the Areopagite as a first-century source, when scholarship across the board dates that corpus to around 500 AD. Then in cross-examination he spent his time attacking the Protestant canon and believer's baptism instead of defending his own thesis. White stayed on topic. He showed how Nicaea II ripped Basil of Caesarea out of context. Basil was arguing that Christ is the true image of the Father to prove the Trinity, not telling Christians to kiss wooden panels. White was also right to bring up the politics and the bad, forged sources used at Nicaea II — sources Rome itself took centuries to untangle with the Frankish church. You don't defend Christian tradition by inventing bad history and twisting Scripture. White held the line, called out the bad arguments, and walked away with the win.

She’s definitely the type that thinks all art is political and she has to be right and tell everyone all the time how they are wrong
Ladies. Would you end your friendship of 17 years over this? (I'm not saying my opinion Im asking cause I wanna see if I'm tripping)

I didn’t know this at all.
the original protestors who started off BLM had good intentions were killed and brushed under the rug. then that entire movement was co-opted and ruined from the inside out in the same styling of the BPP. that’s why when white ppl think of BLM they think of these 3 fraud ass lgbt women instead of the actual activists who mysteriously died after

1) black kids in MS and LA score have improved surpassing coastal states like California since implementing school choice 2)the fact that a willing father has to file paperwork to be with or see his child is evidence fathers don’t have equal rights 3)the child in the womb belongs to the father just as much as the mother. The fact you don’t want the fathers voice involved in the death of his child is evidence of no equal rights 4)if women can kill their children in the womb avoiding responsibility of parenting, then men should be able to give up their parental reasonably with no repercussions, like women do. Either stop abortion or men no longer face consequences These are the demands
School choice have not made education better. Father's always had equal rights. They just had to show up and file paperwork. so you want people namely women to stay trapped in a marriage 😂😂 Black unemployment has risen Women Healthcare should be between her & her doctor

We are stereotyped by people outside the community and by the women in it So stop asking us to ally with you
Roughly 0.003% of Black men commit these murders in a given year. In 2024, about 704 Black women were killed by men in single-victim cases (VPC/FBI data). Around 90% of Black female homicides are intra-racial, so roughly 630 offenders. With ~20 million Black males in the US, that is about 1 in 32,000 Black men annually. Most Black men are not involved.

You begging us to vote not the other way around. Remember that. I think the Muslims would love to hear from you
Now my insults mean nothing but just a second ago they were the reason you’re not voting. Lmao you’re a bitch.

I’m not asking you lol. We know you can’t or won’t implement them. So we leave you to yourselves.
1. You’ll just have a system where schools get to choose which kids they want. How do you think that’ll go ? 2. Men never opt for custody. They know why. 3. No one is stopping you from a prenup 5. No.
18
Please lol… Asians, Hispanics, Indians, and Muslims are about to surpass black people in demographic population and political influence and you out here shilling for the abortion matriarchy political party Your insults mean nothing.
I’m not telling you what you should want I’m telling you you’re a coon and a loser. I’m also not running for office I’m just another black person baring witness to your ignorance. So if you can’t vote for someone because what other private citizens call you, you’re soft.

So now it’s no longer “black men are hard to love”, or “bullet bags” Now we are all big one black family huh? You don’t get to play intersectional hokie pokie without consequences Don’t pop up voting season pretending like our opinions and power matter.
LOL tell that to the same government officials who don’t give a damn what gender you are. At the end of the day, we’re all fighting the same fight. Freedom is everybody’s business

54 percent of black men are single and childless 36 percent of black men are married Black men get married more than BW and have less children out of wedlock But you want to stereotype black men and wonder why we aren’t rushing to go vote for your preferred candidate and agenda
Gotcha! Black men aren’t voting to get back at black women 😂. Fck their (multiple) kids (in diff household), their old ahh granny on medicare, their parents who can’t even think about retiring, and their communities. The road always leads back to black women or YT men.

Democrats don't offer any tangible policy to Foundational Black Americans to demonstrate why voting for them is best for us. Instead, they send somebody out to cuss us out. Today, Jennifer Lewis and the Cuss'em Out Choir Crew are cussing us out by song. Per the lyrics of their impromptu little ditty here, you can tell that they don't care who we are or where we work - we should just get our "ass" out and vote. Vote for what, Jennifer? Vote for what Whoopi? Vote for what, Cuss'em Out Choir Crew? No policy. NO VOTE!
Get your ass out and vote!
