I’d seen Pacific Emerald Doves around on this trip to Lord Howe Island — but not with camera in hand (mostly while riding my bike) .. up until this morning. One flew into some bushes. Then another. Then they, um, went about their business without seeming too fussed by me 🤷‍♂️😂

Maybe you should write to all the Election Commissioners both State and Federal and ask them about their use of discretionary powers to declare votes formal and informal and instructions given to staff about this and see what their response is

The rain held off long enough that I walked around for a bit with my camera this afternoon, looking for birds. I found some, too 😃 Yet the best photo of my walk was taken as I was leaving — just near our bins on our common property:
