In the midst of all this craziness, this thing I wrote with some amazing artists is coming out!
If you have a spare moment, and you're into sci-fi and/or comics, could you spare a moment amongst the burning servers to have a look!
Hey folks, much going on? Well... our #kickstarter for our #scifi #comic BaadFood #3 goes live next Tuesday, would be cool if you could have a look and register to get an update when we go live :).
Best of luck, Comics Twitter has been inspirational.

I know we're only less than a month into 2023, but this is my favourite comic this year.

This looks good! If you have a spare few dollars looking for a home they could use a hand meeting their goal.
I just backed BaadFood #3 - a Sci-Fi comic on @Kickstarter kickstarter.com/projects/196…
The #scifi #indiecomic BaadFood #3 got added as a #ProjectWeLove on #Kickstarter!
Two twenty-something music obsessed guys get by in a world of machine intelligences, warsuits and altered humans.
Have a look at the project, and our rewards here:

I've seen a lot of people asking "why does everyone think Twitter is doomed?"
As an SRE and sysadmin with 10+ years of industry experience, I wanted to write up a few scenarios that are real threats to the integrity of the bird site over the coming weeks.

I know many of you are following the story of how Nadine Dorries misled the House of Commons Culture Select Committee on which I sit. The Committee issued an excoriating report about her. I sent a copy to The Speaker asking him to take action. Have a listen to his response to me.

Unless you operated large systems, it’s hard to appreciate both how they work, and how they break.
Twitter won’t go down with a big b, and it won’t go down irreparable.
Things will work fine for a while - thanks to no new deploys! Then, here’s what’s likely to happen (cont’d):
Dayum... Arnold Rimmer and him upstairs have a remarkable similarity...

This with bells on.
We've known this for a long time, and we need to make sure we're not going to kill phytoplankton or we could create our own version of the Great Oxygenation Event.
Why is plankton important?
> Produce 50-70% of atmospheric oxygen, more than all forests on earth combined
> They're the basis of the marine food web, providing higher trophic levels of nutrition
