So funny watching Republicans cry about rigged elections after losing. Like clock work. Everytime. It's never rigged when they actually win just when they lose. Then we have to listen to them cry over and over. But we had all these hats and shirts! But we had all these parades! But Jesus is a republican! Look at all these boats. How did we lose?! I'll tell you how, despite the heavy gerrymandering. Despite bullshit antics like long lines, running out of ballots, etc. You lose because you are the minority. You lose because your policies are shit. You lose because all you care about is a culture war and not governance. You lose because you want women to be 2nd class citizens making sandwiches with no opinion. You lose because you see gay ppl as subhuman. You lose because you push your religion onto other ppl while not even following your own beliefs. You lose because you are anti American. I know that's a hard thing to understand as your house is covered in flags but that doesn't make you a patriot. Wearing trump merchandise isn't patriotic its a sign of being a nationalist that's a part of a fascist movement. The rest of the country sees it except you because you're in a cult. Many years ago I was waiting in an audition room to go in an read for a role (in a movie I can’t remember) for a young director seemingly recently out of film school. As I waited, actor after actor walked in to audition, my turn was next and at that moment in walked a towering powerful elderly man. A man of regal grace, intelligence and class that I immediately recognized. As I looked at him sit down with his audition sides in hand, I sat back in my seat dumbfounded and angry. I said to myself, “Are these producers and that young director actually making the great Richard Roundtree audition for this rinky dink film?” I felt super protective of him for some reason. Lol. In my mind, there was no doubt they should’ve offered him the role out of respect. It was that moment I realized that the world rarely grants us the respect we are due. So after I read and before I left I made it a point to laud him with compliments and respect. From that moment on, everytime he would see me he would say with his deep voice and a smile, “Hill, how you doing Young Brother?” He reminded me of my father and other men from his generation. So strong. So cool. So loving without ever “showing” it. His immense talent and commanding presence graced our screens, embodying both strength and gentleness. Beyond his legendary roles, he was a man of deep kindness and soulful wisdom. Let us celebrate his enduring legacy and the indelible mark he leaves behind. Farewell good sir. With all respect, love and reverence. You, Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, Ossie Davis and others are leaving us too soon and leaving a definite void. You represent the best of us. We love you. Let’s say for one minute that Hunter Biden did send the text message in 2017. Let’s for one minute assume the Joe Biden is sitting right there with Hunter while composing the message. Let’s even go further & say that Joe Biden told Hunter what to say in the text. What office did Joe Biden hold in 2017? In 2017, what law did then private citizen Joe Biden break? Now let’s assume that he didn’t provide a product. Let’s even assume that it was pay for political influence. If Biden was paid for political influence while a private citizen, isn’t that what lobbyists do everyday? Correct me if I’m wrong, but if Biden is guilty of all these things Republicans have stated above isn’t he only guilty of lying while NOT under oath? Isn’t that exactly what Donald Trump did for 4 straight years? I fail to see the need for a Congressional investigation!
