I know a young woman who was raped at the U.S. Military academy/West Point. Daughter of friends. She was raped and traumatized so badly she left school. The boy was not punished. He has since graduated and is an officer somewhere. She's still traumatized. No college degree-she was a junior. Emotionally shut down. Her parents brought her home. Put her in treatment. It changed all of their lives. The monster who did it. Was a General's kid. He is living his life. The young woman always suffers. Always.
