Judge Nicol took her word as true dismissing independent evidence showing she was lying. In Virginia the evidence PROVED everything she said in the UK was lies.

You misunderstand UK law. The Sun used the Truth defense, meaning they legally had to prove the abuse happened. Justice Nicol ruled 12 were proved to the civil standard . It was NOT a pass to publish , it WAS/IS a formal judicial finding of FACT .

There was no abuse case. There was, Depp v Heard, a defamation case, (did she lie). There was, JD v NGN, a liable case, (can we print her lies). She LOST the case against her cause he PROVED she LIED.

Johnny DID sue Amber for defamation and HE WON because she defamed him. The jury found she LIED about everything. Amber accepted that verdict when she dropped her appeal and PAID HIM 1 million dollars, which he gave to charity.

The trial was six years ago. Johnny lost and failed to sue Amber Heard for defamation. In fact, he settled out of court and accepted that she did not. Get over it.
