This hits home. There was such a spirit of pride and arrogance in the church in the 2010's. We wanted to be smarter, more loving, more charming and winsome, more "diverse" than the past generation of American Christians. We acted as if we were just kind and smart enough, the world wouldn't hate us quite as much. I got wrapped up in it. The reality was, the message got softened, but no more souls were won. We just got to post some chest-thumping tweets as things got worse around us. The world got darker. Clarity is needed more than ever, and often that comes in stark and even harsh words. Not to revel in, but to convict. Then the Lord will call and collect his own.

Look at the absurdly primitive rewards it promises in paradise: •Cups to drink from – “Therein will be raised couches, and cups set at hand.” (Quran 88:13-14) •Carpets and tents – “Chaste maidens restrained in pavilions.” (Quran 55:72) •Beds and couches – “Reclining upon couches lined with brocade.” (Quran 55:54) •Leaning on cushions – “Reclining therein upon adorned couches.” (Quran 36:56) This is not a vision of heaven, it’s the dream of a man who spent his life sleeping in a tent on the desert floor, bribing his followers with fantasies of silk cushions, goblets of wine, and women hidden away in luxurious tents. Muhammad’s idea of paradise is nothing but an upgraded desert campsite. Muhammad was motivating his jihadists, promising them the very things they lacked in the harsh deserts of Arabia. He wasn’t offering a path to enlightenment; he was selling paradise like a merchant pushing luxury goods in a marketplace. And of course, he didn’t stop at furniture and drink, he added virgins, rivers of wine, and young boys to serve them (Quran 78:33, Quran 76:19). What kind of God promises sex slaves and alcohol as a divine reward? The answer is simple: a false god, invented by a man who knew how to manipulate warriors into dying for him. Islam’s paradise exposes the Quran for what it truly is, not divine revelation, but the materialistic fantasy of a 7th-century Bedouin warlord who bribed men with couches and cups of wine to send them to die in battle.

Dem Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan and Gov. Tim Walz steered taxpayer money to Booty Bumping kits so drug users could take meth and heroin up the butthole, according to the Washington Free Beacon. The rectum kits were reportedly part of a $100 million grant. The "boofing" kits come with free lube and a pamphlet with step-by-step instructions on how to shove drugs up your butt. "These grants will ensure that everyone can access the supports they need to find and secure safe, stable housing," Flanagan said of the 'Minnesotans facing homelessness' grants. Minnesota has given Southside Harm Reduction Services $7.9 million in the past few years, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon. The nonprofit provides "harm reduction" supplies like the booty bumping kits so drug users can "safely" ingest drugs through the rectum. "Try to poop before. This is so your drugs are absorbed better. Stand, squat, or lay on your side in a comfortable position. It never hurts to have a boofing buddy!" Southside Harm Reduction Services says in the instructions.

This comes up a lot from the trolls and haters, but I'll answer it (again). Two reasons: 1) I was ignorant and proud. Like many Democratic voters, I overestimated my understanding of politics by many times over. 2) I hated George W Bush, therefore his party; main reason by far.
