I’m starting From the 50 because my love for football never left. And I have a feeling I’m not alone. This blog is for the diehards and the curious. For folks who grew up with Friday night lights, or just tuned in last season and got hooked. open.substack.com/pub/fromth…

He literally put his life on the line for this team. I’ll never have more respect for a player than I have for Hurts. But shame on the organization for allowing it.

Victor Williams

@ThePhillyPod2h

He meant it.

Hard to respect this team right now if I’m being honest.

Jalen Hurts was told by doctors not to sleep after his initial diagnosis of a superficial blood clot while in London. Hurts stayed awake for roughly 36 hours before starting against the Jaguars. (per @TomPelissero)

Ima throw up.

@TomPelissero4h

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for multiple months after new imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs. Hurts is now on blood thinners and should have no long-term effects. But it’s unlikely he plays again this season.

This was deemed a holding penalty on Florida State’s first 4th down touchdown. Absolute disgrace to the sport. xitter.cf/TonyCMKE/status/211165…

Notre Dame EDGE Boubacar Traore was ejected against BYU for targeting less than 3 minutes into the game. This is the hit that led to the ejection:

JESSE LEGREE IS A CHEAT CODE. 90-yard TD for Oregon State's true freshman. Legree is taking over college football.

That is a heartbreaking way to lose a football game right there. Sheesh.

Julian Sayin gets a lot of hate for a guy who is very clearly a Top 5 QB in America.
