My Grandfather鈥檚 walking stick now leans on my wall, where it is, from time to time used to sweep cobwebs, hook curtains & ferret for cat toys, lost in the void of Under Settee And it will, one day, support the bones of a granddaughter鈥檚 hip. It knows old bones #FromOneLine

My grandfather's walking stick Made out of a strong tree Specially carved One of his rare possessions Purchased when he travelled to the West Served him for close to 40 years I grew up seeing him use it Always shining because of frequent polishing A good role model #FromOneLine

My grandfather's walking stick I rely on daily now that the years have caught up to me I place flowers on his grave and while the earth between us mutes our conversation he mentors me more today than he did back when I was too headstrong to listen #FromOneLine #foxprose #poetry
