BREAKING: Germany’s transport minister pushes for Tesla FSD approval across Europe.
Speaking today at a Tagesspiegel Background conference in Berlin, Steffen Bilger said:
• He will push for Tesla FSD Supervised to reach drivers across the EU soon.
• He sees potential for FSD to make roads safer and wants to support innovation.
• Germany should explore its own approval route if EU talks fail.
• He will work to ensure that this system can be used throughout Europe soon.

Bundesverkehrsminister Steffen Bilger stellt sich klar hinter eine schnelle europaweite Genehmigung von Tesla FSD Supervised.
Und seine Wortwahl ist bemerkenswert:
✅ Im September direkter Austausch mit Tesla
✅ „schnell ein gemeinsames Verständnis gefunden“
✅ „konstruktive Einigung erzielt“
✅ Bilger will sich dafür einsetzen, dass das System zeitnah europaweit genehmigt wird
Sein Ziel:
Tesla-Fahrer sollen die Vorteile des Assisted Driving „in der gesamten EU so schnell wie möglich nutzen können.“
Deutschland scheint bei FSD Supervised nicht mehr auf der Bremse zu stehen – sondern die europäische Freigabe jetzt aktiv vorantreiben zu wollen.

Die EU-Abstimmung zu FSD Supervised ist von Oktober auf frühestens Dezember gerutscht.
6. Oktober: nur noch reden.
Ich fahre hier weiter selbst. In NL, BE, DK ist das System schon auf der Straße. In Dorsten durfte ich es als Demo sitzen.
Ich bin Mutter von zwei Kindern. Genau deshalb will ich mehr Augen auf der Straße — nicht 25 Minuten Agenda.

I was driving back home after picking up my kids from school with FSD on when a kid suddenly appeared out of nowhere. FSD spotted him and avoided him perfectly with a great reaction.
And some people are trying to delay this technology in Europe. Mind-blowing. 🤯

Another very interesting edge case where a bus blocks half the intersection. The @Tesla has to persist the cars’ motion behind the bus and out of sight. Just before the blue car appears it starts going because it just knows that was the last hidden car and persisted the speed when out of sight 😱. I swear, sometimes FSD just feels like magic. 😍 @teslaeurope @teslasi @AnnickDeRidder
