✨WORKSHOP FACILITATORS✨ ok, long & short of it: I'm going to create a database for Arts Facilitators in the UK in theatre, community arts & education. I often find myself in positions where I'm looking to meet you, learn from you and/or employ you! 🧵(1/3)

I always suggest in the few days after #EdFringe doing a proper debrief with your team or another performer if you're a solo performer. It's got to ASAP while still fresh (sorry). - What were the greatest memories, inspirations and highlights? - What were the worst moments?

OH yes I have - - Marketing review. How did you market the show? Was it effective? Did you buy too many flyers or spend too much on them? Did you flyer well? What would you differently next time? How could you make your strategy more digital next time?

#edfringe artists - before they get forgotten or deleted, screenshot every compliment you've received about your show, (and also all the reviews incl audience reviews on Edfringe site). Tip: GoFullPage is a Chrome extension that can capture a whole page in one PDF.

FYI #edfringe if you, like me, bought food that you didn't end up cooking, you can drop it off at the Pleasance Courtyard reception from tomorrow.

While I'm on the advice train... some thoughts about flyering. I've seen some howlers out there - here's what not to do:

Be charming but not creepy, and don't overstay your welcome but keep talking to people as long as possible.

It's amazing what targeted flyering action can do. The other day one of my show had one presale the evening before - an industry person - and by the time the show went up early the next afternoon we had over 30, plus a load of venue passes.
