I’m convinced #WhitFriday24 and #brassbands in general get short changed in broader society. They are both cultural gems that should be more widely known and celebrated :-)

Various members of the BBE team will be playing in and visiting #WhitFriday24 tomorrow. Including the full #WhitFriday experience for our Marketing Manager, a @FridayWhit newbie, courtesy of BBE Member Band @Friezlandband. Best of luck to everyone performing! See you there? 🎺

🥇 The highlight of our evening was being awarded first place at Delph, a performance we gave shortly after midnight! We believe this is the first time a band from outside of England has won at the venue.

Final push for Whit Friday bands contest next week. It's forecast to be stunning weather, wonderful set up at Seel, views, food & drink, and (most importantly) some incredible brass bands from all over the country (& maybe Europe 🤞). Bands 430 onwards, bar/food from midday!
