“Offer expired, there is a spot for a side chick still available though”
This girl left this guy on read when he asked her if she would be his girlfriend.
Brutal.
More than a year later, she said, "Let's give it a shot."
Not "yes," not "sure," but instead proposing a probationary period... depending on how obedient of a good dog he turns out to be.
Honestly I'd rather she just left me on read than to utterly humiliate me like this.
“Plenty of marriages need a third person in the room”
That is how cuckholdery starts…
It can either be physically with a guy piping your chick in front of you.
Or morally by another man/woman having authority over you.
If you want to change organically the dynamics of your relationship the change must happen from the man who gets and acts on advice behind closed doors - because the moment a woman knows or witnesses someone else playing a part in the game - he has emasculated himself - she must feel it is coming from him.
Couples counseling gets recommended to every man in a dead bedroom, and it's fair advice. Plenty of marriages need a third person in the room.
Eighteen months in, he's learned to ask better and want less. Her side of it is a condition the room works around. His side is a behavior with homework attached.
Her trying to control the future is a foreshadowing of her wanting to control you not only in the pre-relationship but within it.
All a byproduct of her anxiety, so it won’t stop there.
The same type of chick will then ask you to close your IG, stop seeing your friends and all that jazz because she can’t afford to lose you.
Not because she loves or cares about you, but just because you were the last helicopter from Nam and/or you are the guy that will make her tick her life goals box + she does not want to go back the jungle.
“Dating with intention” = I am cooked and I can’t afford to waste anymore so I am transferring the risk onto you - you don’t matter - only I do
It is so funny when I challenge women on apps saying “tell me you are desperate without telling me you are desperate” - they all get triggered not realising what they convey, even the ones who on paper should be intelligent (doctors, lawyers, business owners, high corporate ladder women).
Women solipsism is a man’s best friend because they can’t hear what they are saying - and it enables guys seeing the obvious should they not be stuck in scarcity or in their ego.
They are like a woman running out of chips on a poker tournament and having to shove all in to survive with less than 10 big blinds with almost any hands.
Not only they have little fold equity, but you know they mostly have garbage hands, even if they don’t everyone can afford to play because the pot is cheap, yet it is them trying to convey standards and high value… lol
We know a fire sale when we see one.
No subtlety. No mystery. No anticipation. You have forgotten how to have fun and generate attraction.
You are not even asking "what are we," which has its own host of problems - you are asking "what are we going to be?"
This may seem innocuous or even "responsible" to you, but it's not. You are trying to control the future, and him, and the dynamics of the relationship with him by pushing this upfront. It's not only unsexy, it's unconfident.
Confident people can handle uncertainty. You couldn't, and that neuroticism was immediately apparent to him. You were so focused on what could be, that you ruined what actually was: a man and a woman playing with sexual energy and vibe checking each other. You destroyed the immersion, which is the basis of all romance.
Lighten up and start being a little more impulsive. The young fall in love easily because they don't think about the future; the old struggle because they fixate on their dwindling time.
Give her $2k and tell her to go shopping.
If my experience in the field taught me one thing, it is not what women say that matters, it is what women do.
Compliance beats intentions and reasoning.
Whoever’s subjective reality reigns over the other person dictates whose perceived value is higher, and who drops their position for the other individual.
Meaning by that:
How can someone like you more when they prioritise their position over yours?
Does not mean she can’t fuck for fun and it has nothing to do with you as a long-term prospect - but if there is no fear of losing you from not going with you - then she was not that into you.
And her agenda (meaning her) matters more than you.

A woman he bangs a guy on the first date is just looking for sex. That's the bottom line. She will not marry that guy. So, if she waited longer to have sex with you then the odds are she interested in more than sex with you. You just have to figure that out.
Explaining front-end to a backend guy is like explaining to a dev that his product won’t sell shit without distribution.

You’re delusional. One guys character on the microphone wont change a sports appeal buddy
You are either the guy she fucks on the first date or the guy she fools because he does not take seriously the girls who sleep on the first date.
This is the male version of preferring being lied to.
Although the below is very much understandable from a woman’s perspective and sounds like a wise choice - it is just another way of saying to the guy “be the donkey that will support the family and you may get lucky I give you 20% of my time because the kid will take precedence over you”
So the targeting of the individual requires a compliant guy that will take on the crumbs and satisfy himself with being a father.
Replying to @FrenchOG3
I did prioritize motherhood after 30, but the logic became “Will he make a good father?” instead of “Does he make me happy?” I think the father question is more likely to lead to a lasting relationship honestly.
Long-term strategy for long-term bachelor who don’t want to die alone.
When you become tired of fucking and you just want to coast and chill - find yourself a woman you build emotional attachment with that becomes your housekeeper and retirement material type of girl.
So you enjoyed the freedom of your younger years - and when you have reached the stage of being “fucked out” you can have someone to watch over you.
Don’t seek a wife - seek a future carer.
Caveat: Will cost you.
Lesson 1:
If something in your gut tells you something is off - listen to it
Lesson 2:
When as a result your gf/wife tells you “it is fine” IT IS NOT FINE
Lesson 3:
If you can’t understand what it is - you may still have a shot at addressing the issue before it is too late - it is your window where she can feel you still have that emotional leadership - and she is desperate for you to solve it, she will give you hints.
Pick up on them and lead.
Lesson 4:
If you don’t she will leave you and give you some vague reasons - which in most cases she does not even know what it actually encompass - and by then it will be too late because she will have built enough resentment to be completely done when she gives you the chop.
Lesson 5:
That is when guys get blindsided and are emotionally way behind the curve and look to salvage shit - but they never thought it was a priority until the problem hits.
That is when they are willing to invest money and time in “getting back with their ex” (why do you think there is a cottage industry in that).
Like women who will leave the relationship because they think the grass is greener, men will be oblivious to the need of their partner because they are too literal to read between the lines.
A client's ex broke up with him when she said she wasn't feeling "emotional intimacy."
He told me he had to "Google what that even meant."
She never mentioned it was a problem during the relationship. They had regular conversations about what was working, what wasn't. She'd always said everything was fine.
Then she blindsided him on the way out.
Two things were true at once:
She knew what she felt, but was unable to articulate it. And he didn't have the wiring to pick up on what she couldn't say.

The Terra Chad experiment only illustrates that she would rather be sold an obvious lie than buy a practical truth.
