Back to work today after 14 days off, and it’s safe to say that I’ve missed it terribly.

As far as I am aware everything is exactly the same. However, you don’t have access to the MCB cabinet in the number 2 end. So if you need to isolate anytime, you need to go to the number 1 end.

I've visited the Derby Works many times over the years. Staff are dedicated and rightly proud of their trains. If the Gov cared about those workers (and their families) it would have done something before now. Train being built: tinyurl.com/5ddaz987 @AlstomUK @Alstom

22 years ago this month – armed with a 500mm lens and Ektachrome film – I shot Virgin Voyagers undergoing testing on the Lickey. They did numerous runs to Blackwell and back. All hush-hush, but I had a tip off! tinyurl.com/27nc82hw @RAIL @TodaysRailways @RailwayMagazine

Driven by the Brother in law and overseen by my Dad.
It has blown my mind that I am now here. Going from zero interest in trains to driving the locos they've both driven. I'm so excited for what's still to come!
