The destructions of Gaza cities is more severe than the destructions of European Cities in WWII. According to Article II of the UN Genocide Convention, genocide involves specific acts committed with the "intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group." Wanton devastation not justified by military necessity; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction is also an act of genocide according to Article Il of the UN Genocide Convention.
