Thank you to Speaker Ledbetter and Pro Tem Gudger for making full repeal of the grocery tax the first order of business in 2027. Alabama has already cut it in half. Now let’s take it to zero! yellowhammernews.com/alabama…

It’s disappointing to see out-of-state politicians come to Alabama and spread fear about data centers. With the right guardrails, they will pay their own way and bring generational revenue to our schools, roads, and hospitals.1819news.com/news/item/stace…

Alabamians have fair questions about data centers, and they deserve straight answers. Done the right way, these projects can lower utility rates, bring good jobs, and generate local tax revenue that supports schools and services.

West Virginia is using data center revenue to phase out its state income tax. Alabama has the same opportunity in front of it. Data centers bring jobs, investment, and new revenue that can help Alabamians keep more of what they earn. yellowhammernews.com/yaffee-…

Data centers are going to be built somewhere. Alabama should compete for that investment without putting costs on families or ratepayers. Blanket bans and roadblocks aren't the answer. Let projects that make sense move forward, and let Alabama benefit from the growth they bring.

Every coverage mandate comes with a price tag, and Alabama families are the ones who pay it. More requirements mean higher premiums, and higher premiums mean fewer people covered at all. Bringing costs down starts with cutting the mandates that drove them up.

Alabama is open for business, and that is not an accident. We chose to welcome investment, keep taxes low, and give job creators room to grow. Growth is not luck. It comes from the choices a state makes.

Data centers can be game changers for communities all across Alabama. But if a data center wants to move to Alabama, they need to pay their own way.   I’ve cosponsored the Ratepayer Protection Act in the Senate to make sure Alabamians aren’t left footing the bill for any new data centers.   The Senate needs to pass this COMMONSENSE legislation.

When a data center breaks ground in Alabama, somebody you know goes to work. Electricians, pipefitters, welders, the crew pouring concrete, the supply house down the road that sells them what they need. That's real money in real households. And it stays right here in Alabama.

Every permit, every license, every form is time a small business owner spends filling out paperwork instead of serving customers and hiring new employees. Regulations do not create jobs. It hinders them. Cut the red tape and watch Alabama grow.

Virginia has 663 data centers. Thirteen percent of every data center on earth. Residential power there costs 15.94 cents a kilowatt hour. The national average is 17.24. The state with the most data centers has cheaper electricity than the states with none.

Either America wins the AI race or China does. There is no third option. The CCP knows it, and that's why they're working to slow us down. Alabama can help America win. We do that by building, not banning. axios.com/2026/08/28/china-a…

Every new mandate is a hidden tax. It raises your power bill, your insurance premium, and the cost of doing business in Alabama. Government doesn't grow the economy. Job creators do. Less mandates, lower taxes, more freedom. That's the Alabama way.

China doesn't want us building. The fights being stirred up over data centers aren't an accident. Beijing knows whoever wins AI wins the future of our military and our technology. Don't let them write Alabama's AI policy.

President Trump is right, data centers are “LIQUID GOLD.” While states like New York continue to regulate opportunity out of existence, Alabama is here to champion free enterprise and welcome economic growth! 1819news.com/news/item/liqui…

Free markets built American strength. Now, shadowy groups are spreading lies to strangle data center and energy projects in red tape and bureaucracy. This isn’t activism, it’s sabotage. Time to find out who’s funding it and why. instagram.com/reel/DaTBue7oF…

Healthcare decisions belong with patients and providers, not government mandates. Every new mandate increases costs, limits flexibility, and restricts the freedom to choose the care that works best for you.
