Under eftermiddagen, i Humlegården i Stockholm, mötte jag unga som äldre, män som kvinnor, som oförtröttligt kämpar mot den islamistiska regimen i Iran. The fuel lines in that photo aren’t some temporary glitch. They’re what you get when a country sitting on massive oil and gas reserves still can’t keep pumps running without chaos.
The regime spends the country’s wealth on militias and internal repression, the IRGC smuggles tens of millions of liters a day, and they keep forcing thirsty, low-quality cars on people. Then they turn around and tell ordinary Iranians the shortage is their fault and they should just pay more. That’s not policy. That’s theft with extra steps.
You can’t compare Iran’s pump prices to other countries when wages are in collapsed rials and most families are already under the poverty line. Raising the price now just transfers the cost of their corruption onto people who have nothing left to give.
They’re never going to fix this because they are the problem. A national government that actually treats energy as a national resource instead of a slush fund is the only way the queues and the shortages stop.

تلاش جمهوری اسلامی برای افزایش قیمت بنزین، بار دیگر بیکفایتی و نابسامانی ساختاری بازار انرژی ایران تحت سلطه این رژیم را آشکار کرده است.
در شرایطی که جمهوری اسلامی منابع کشور را صرف تروریستهای خارجی و سرکوبگران داخلی میکند، مقامات نظام و نزدیکانشان در غارت اموال ملی با یکدیگر رقابت میکنند و بیکفایتی رژیم در اداره کشور کمر خانوارها را شکسته و ایرانیان را فقیر کرده است. تحمیل افزایش قیمت سوخت به مردم، اشتباهی نابخشودنی و خیانتی بزرگ است. نمیتوان بهای سوخت را با کشورهای دیگر مقایسه کرد، در حالی که درآمد ایرانیان به ریال و زیر خط فقر است.
مسئله سوخت و انرژی در تقریباً همه کشورهای جهان، حتی بسیاری از کشورهایی که منابعی بسیار کمتر از ایران دارند، بهطور روزمره و بدون بحران مدیریت میشود.
از یک سو، مافیای قاچاق سپاه روزانه دهها میلیون لیتر سرمایه ایران را از طریق تانکر، خط لوله و اسکله قاچاق میکند و از سوی دیگر، مافیای خودرو، خودروهای بیکیفیت و پرمصرف را به ملت تحمیل میکند. این فرقه تبهکار که قادر به حل مشکل نیست، از طریق دستگاه پروپاگاندای خود بار کمبود سوخت را بر دوش مردم میگذرد و آنها را عامل افزایش مصرف و قاچاق سوخت معرفی میکند.
جمهوری اسلامی، رژیمی بیکفایت، فاسد و ضدایرانی است که خود ریشه این نابسامانیهاست و هرگز قادر به حل آنها نخواهد بود.
تنها راه نجات ایران و پایان این چرخه ویرانگر، برانداختن کامل این رژیم و استقرار دولتی ملی و کارآمد است. «پروژه شکوفایی ایران» برنامههای روشنی برای ایجاد توازن میان تولید و مصرف سوخت تدوین کرده است. این برنامهها بر پایه بهترین شیوههای آزمودهشده جهانی و تجربه ملی ایران در مدیریت منابع انرژی استوارند و پس از سقوط این رژیم، در دوران گذار، اجرایی خواهند شد.

It was a pleasure to speak with Crown Prince @PahlaviReza about the mission for a free and democratic Iran, returned to the Iranian people and free from the terror of the regime in Tehran.
I shared with him the tremendous support I saw from Canada’s Persian community in Vancouver and their hope for freedom and democratic change in Iran.
We discussed the importance of sustained international pressure on the Islamic Republic, maintaining internet access for Iranians, using frozen Iranian regime assets rather than Western taxpayer dollars to support the Iranian people, and ensuring that Iranians themselves determine the future of their country through free elections and a democratic constitutional process.
Conservatives support comprehensive sanctions and the seizure of regime assets, expelling the IRGC from Canada, protecting Persian and Jewish communities here at home from threats and intimidation, and maintaining the Conservative policy of no formal diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic.
I was also pleased to invite the Crown Prince to visit Canada and look forward to continuing our discussions about how Canada can support the Iranian people in reclaiming their country and securing a free and democratic future.
The 1979 lesson never gets old. Secular leftists helped the Islamists seize power, then the Islamists hanged them. The regime they created is still there. Instead of more hand-wringing about who used whom, the only useful response is to focus on destroying that government.
