After the brutal crackdown and internet blackout silenced voices inside Iran, he called on Iranians abroad to become their voice. On February 14, hundreds of thousands of Iranians across the world—from major cities in Australia and Europe to Canada and the United States—responded to his Global Day of Action. These are significant facts that cannot simply be ignored when assessing his role and support. 3-I am also deeply concerned about the MEK’s extensive lobbying in the U.S., Australia, Europe and elsewhere to present itself as an alternative to the Islamic Republic. One example is H.Res.166 in the U.S. Congress, which through MEK/NCRI lobbying gained the support of more than 220 House members and explicitly references Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan and “Resistance Units.” This kind of international lobbying should not be mistaken for genuine popular support inside Iran. 4-Reza Pahlavi has a decades-long public record that anyone can examine through his speeches and interviews.
