Scott Jennings absolutely ROASTS “slippery” Democrat James Talarico after being asked how he thought the candidate did at last night’s CNN town hall.
He said when Talarico was finally forced to answer questions directly from voters, he told them what they wanted to hear rather than being honest about his actual positions.
In other words, he lied to their faces.
JENNINGS: “I mean, the veteran sat down in front of him, and all he wanted to know was whether he was going to vote for the SAVE America Act, and Talarico sat there and lied to his face.”
“And told him he’d never heard of it, when he’s been out trashing it all over the campaign trail.”
Jennings called out another exchange involving a Catholic woman and Talarico’s position on abortion.
JENNINGS: “He tried to make the Catholic lady believe that they were on the same page when it comes to abortion…they very much are not on the same page when it comes to pro-life issues.”
Talarico was trying to appeal to conservative voters without being upfront about where he actually stands on voter ID, the SAVE America Act, abortion and other key issues.
WHOA: CNN admitted on air that if the polls are underestimating Republicans by as little as 2–4 points, the Democrats’ predicted “blue wave” could be STOPPED dead in its tracks.
It’s happened before.
We’re talking about Republicans potentially holding onto BOTH chambers of Congress: 53 Senate seats and 218+ seats in the House.
In other words, the entire narrative surrounding the midterms hinges on antiquated polling that could flip with just a few percentage points of error.
CNN: “If the polls underestimate Republicans by 2-4 points…well, remember all of that blue that was on the map before? All that blue went buh-bye!”
