I have made the decision to not stand in the KCC elections due to personal/family reasons.
I cannot fully commit at this stage to the campaign at this time and give the energy it deserves.
I will be moving away from social media while I focus on the family.
Thank you to everyone who put their faith in me and the incredible volunteers at @hernebaylabour.
I wish everyone the best and support whoever is selected as the candidate for Herne Bay East.
Fred Pearce.

🚨 NEW: The Government will unveil plans to overhaul social care tomorrow
Care workers will be trained to carry out basic health checks, like blood pressure, to reduce pressure on the NHS
There’ll also be improved data sharing between GPs, care homes and hospitals

Spent this morning with the Herne Bay LGBTQ+ Society and the Happy Here team having conversations with the local LGBTQ+ community .
I then went to support Herne Bay Library, there are still hats left to claim for free at the library 📚 #hernebayhats
Today I assisted KCC Cllr @Alister4KCC and Sian Pettman at Kingsmead field as part of Tree Planting Week.
It was great to meet Anna from KCC and to meet all of the volunteers who got involved today. Thank you all for a very rewarding morning, and the great biscuits.
💯 - thank you @PollyBLabour for raising this. It affects so many Kent constituencies including my own in Herne Bay and Sandwich.

Was out in the cold yesterday chatting to Residents in Heron Ward in Herne Bay, highlighting what the Labour Government has achieved since July.
It is great to be back out in the streets and on the doorsteps 🌹
This is awful! I hope this is fixed and the job is done properly !
Please can you come back to Margate @UKPowerNetworks and do the job properly, this is directly outside of @TCMargate art gallery.
Have some respect.
Well said @PollyBLabour !

Incredible moment and a historic day for British politics.
First Woman to be the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Thank you @Rachel ReevesMP for smashing the ceiling.
Today’s budget was sensible and realistic. Look forward to see @UKLabour delivering on our pledges.
Today is the first time in our country’s history that a Budget will be delivered by a woman.
For every young girl watching, let this be a sign that there should be no ceiling on your ambitions.
