🚨 BREAKING: The Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries just skipped the national anthem for the second straight WNBA Finals game.
The league's own rulebook requires players, coaches and trainers to stand along the sideline or foul line during the anthem. They broke it anyway, and the WNBA still hasn't said a word.
Fox's Joe Concha nailed it: "League officials are petrified of their own players."
These women make a living off the freedom this country gives them, and they can't stand for two minutes to respect it. Meanwhile, viewers are tuning out now that Caitlin Clark is gone.
No anthem, no audience. Keep it up, ladies.

🚨 CORNELL SEVEN CASE UPDATE
A defendant has been dropped from Jane Doe’s civil lawsuit with prejudice. Orazio Petito, identified in the original complaint as president of Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity at the time of the alleged October 2024 assault, has been dismissed from the case. His attorney previously pointed out that he did not serve as the fraternity president at the time of the alleged incident. Petito was accused of failing to supervise fraternity members, not of participating in the alleged sexual assault.

@Outkick video shows players from the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries are noticeably absent during the anthem ahead of Game 2, as Grammy-winning singer Alanis Morissette performs.

🚨BREAKING: Minnesota’s Department of Human Services overpaid $2.4 million in Medicaid to the White Earth Nation, the tribe to which Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan belongs.
A state audit found that millions in additional payments to White Earth and the Leech Lake Band in 2019 were made after DHS had already determined the payment practice did not comply with state and federal legal requirements.
The money was part of larger overpayments over a decade for Medication-Assisted Treatment programs meant to treat opioid addiction. Flanagan is a member of the White Earth Nation and has served as lieutenant governor under Gov. Tim Walz.
The overpayments went to a tribe connected to the lieutenant governor after the agency knew the payments did not meet legal standards. The audit flagged it. The money was still sent.
