Male/female spaces are NOT like the racial segregation of the past. They are not based on a hierarchy, perceived inferiority, or disgust of the other group. They exist only where necessary to protect privacy & safety, and do not permeate through non-relevant areas of society.

I'm not easily shocked by online abuse anymore but after tweeting in support of trans rights this morning, all I can say, once again, is solidarity to all trans comrades who I know receive this abuse regularly. It's viscous + disgusting
