A little more background why we call this an "Open Source Documentary": @FieldTripBerlin is built using the @FrameTrail software, allowing us to create all links, animations and text overlays directly in the browser with open web technologies! #iDoc #WebDoc

Last but not least: We've been running out of budget many months ago and an openly licensed project is hard to sell. To be able to continue the project and put more stories out in the open, we need your support! Please consider donating: startnext.com/www-fieldtrip-…

The code is, of course, #opensource and available at: github.com/OpenHypervideo/Fi…. In the next days, we will prepare the publication of our openly licensed assets (mostly @creativecommons CC-BY-SA licenses, YES also for most of the video footage).

OK lovely people, I'm back from the dead and I'm back with a bang! This morning our media partner @Tagesspiegel published an exclusive preview of our #interactive #documentary on the #Tempelhof airfield in Berlin @FieldTripBerlin: fieldtrip.tagesspiegel.de/ (in German)

In the @FieldTripBerlin project we use the @FrameTrail Open Hypervideo Environment to create the first #Webdoc format which is both entirely built with #opensource tools (under MIT & GPL v3 licenses) and uses @creativecommons licenses for the produced contents (CC-BY-SA). #remix
