This is why the #Malfoid thing is so potent and this an aspect @shadmbrooks brought up in the conversation. Here’s a guy that obviously has creative skill and has tried to get his own work noticed before, but it took this movement to garner attention. Boom.

Guys, I’m not posting a picture of myself right now because I’m an absolute mess.
But I’m crying. Partly out of frustration, partly out of happiness.
I spent years working on my books, trying everything I could to get people to notice them, to get my name out there.
I worked so hard that there were times when I broke down crying out of sheer desperation.
I’m a religious person, and I spent years begging God to give me a chance.
And now here I am, getting attention from people all over the world… because of an AI-generated Harry Potter video.
It’s funny. It’s ironic. And honestly, it’s overwhelming.
I love what I’ve created with Malfoid. I just wish my own stories had been given the same chance.
Don’t worry, I’m okay.
But once again, I’m going to pour all this frustration into my writing. Which means you’re all going to suffer for it.

The issues go beyond any single character. In a single area, you can walk around and half the gears are women.
This detracts from the entire feel of a society falling apart during an invasion and makes it feel more like a day in the HR department of Ubisoft.
