Still thinking about this post. Human creative innovation is not spontaneous but is actually a byproduct of solving problems. Art deco (for example) was not some randomly-inspired force of will to create beauty; it happened because metallurgy became just advanced enough to create everything out of metal, and because zoning laws required skyscrapers to have a stepped shape at the top. This is why top-down efforts at changing our civilizational aesthetic (like those guys building the giant Greek statues) don’t work. They don’t change the “problem” we’re solving as a civilization, which is the actual source of the bleak & dreary surroundings we find ourselves in
a pattern i observe is that new (like REALLY NEW) aesthetics are usually residue of solving problems eg. the iconic inktrap fonts became popular bc ink would pool in corners when printing on rough paper

Imagine how much else could be achieved by culling invasive species
Eradicating rats and restoring sea birds to tropical atolls and islands would effectively make them immune to sea level rise due to any global warming. Rat free seabird rich atolls grow 250% faster by enriching coral reefs, stabilizing soil and build sediment. Remember the Palmyra Atoll which was made rat free in 2011 for a mere £1.5m? Here is a localized, known and proven cost effective example of what we can do. Yet we wring our hands, blame global climate change and scuttle another nuclear power plant somewhere in Europe. lancaster.ac.uk/news/culling…

"police officers refrained from making arrests as they thought they could be both outmanned and outgunned" probably not the best thing to say during an active revolution, I'd imagine?

BREAKING: French police have encountered rioters and looters armed with AK47s and Scorpion submachine guns on the streets of Paris, Marseille and Lyon. The information comes from the Le Journal du Dimanche journalist Laura Tchekov, who says that her newspaper has received this information from sources within the DGSI, France’s main internal security agency. The weapons were carried by minors and young adults described as being part of organized crime groups but sometimes also close to the Islamist movement in France. The journalist says that not all armed rioters were arrested and that several of them remain on free foot. It’s believed that police officers refrained from making arrests as they thought they could be both outmanned and outgunned at the moment and that hundreds of people were on the streets, creating a risk of a shoot-out that could have resulted in a large number of wounded and dead.

A casino installed a smart fish tank in the lobby. Beautiful thing. Automated feeding. Temperature control. Remote monitoring. Connected to the internet. Obviously. Hackers found it. Exploited it. Downloaded the high-roller database. 10 gigabytes. Sent it to Finland. Using audio and video protocols so it looked like normal streaming traffic. The fish tank sat in the lobby maintaining water chemistry while stealing credit card numbers. The casino isolated the fish tank on its own VPN. Separate network. Segregated. Off limits to everything. Hackers didn't care. Broke through the isolation anyway. Once inside the fish tank's system. They pivoted to the main network. Quietly pulled data. Methodically. 10 gigabytes over time so nobody noticed. Nobody monitors fish tank outbound traffic. Why would they. It's a fish tank. When Darktrace finally investigated they saw it immediately. The fish tank sending massive amounts of data to an external IP. Using protocols designed for audio. Not data. Clear exfiltration. The only device in the entire casino that ever communicated with that Finland server. A fish tank. Not a computer. Not compromised credentials. Not a malware-laden email. A networked aquarium. The lesson everyone learned: IoT devices are security theater. You can secure them. Lock them down. Isolate them. They're still connected to something. Still vulnerable to something. And something will find them. Even if that something is just checking if a fish tank is running the default password.
Hackers stole 10GB of data from a casino… through a FISH TANK. Not a computer. Not a phone. A FISH TANK. The funny part is you probably have something in your home with the same weakness.

There's no rationale for them tearing down statues btw, that has always been cope. Most of these 70-80iq barbarians have no idea who Thomas Jefferson, or Christopher Columbus, or whomever even are, theyre just destroying statues of White people.

The woman is born to do so and she was born with a defect that was not her fault and it is a tragedy. The man chose to castrate himself and he was born as a man and would never have the chance to be pregnant because thats not in his purpose.
Autistic people tend to have an ill-developed theory of mind.

If it integrates ground to space combat we might have something. New Bungie isnt old Bungie but this might be a good use of the studio.

We have been in a recession since 2008, outside of tech there has been either no growth or negative growth. Nearly every monetary and fiscal decision made has been to sell the future to just barely maintain the status quo. On top of that, the very worst President in American history, decided to destroy 600k used cars, many of which would still be running fine, punishing those at the bottom, while enacting absurd standards due to a hysterical doomsday cult that made vehicles twice as expensive with half the longevity. If the vehicles barely last the length of the loan, all the better if you are Ford, GM, etc.—cars as a subscription service! Banks and automakers loved this stuff, of course. Just like insurance companies were ALL ABOUT Obamacare. TL/DR 2008 was the worst year in American history and we still have not recovered.

BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters. Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards. And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.

One reason why multiculturalism failed is its shallow interpretation of culture. Culture isn’t curry and clothes. Culture is values, worldview, history, ideas, religion, rules, beliefs, norms, laws, traditions, language, the ingrained habits and instincts of a hundred generations. Different cultures = different peoples

Alemão sojado: “Não, porque o turco de segunda geração nascido na Alemanha é alemão porque tem papelzinho.” O turco de segunda geração:
🇹🇷🇩🇪 Kerem Demirbay 🗣️ “My blood is Turkish. I am Turkish. My father is Turkish, my mother is Turkish - I am a Turk. I wanted to play for Türkiye and we chased the federation for 1.5 years. But because of certain things I can’t talk about, I had to choose Germany. After scoring a goal for Germany, I took off my shirt and they saw the Türkiye tattoo on my back. After that, they never called me up again. I would never play for Germany again, even if they called me right now. I am Turkish. My biggest regret will always be never having worn the glorious Turkish National Team jersey.”

The Right was effectively outlawed after WW2. Not just in Europe but in America too. What we call the Right today is just a speed governor to slow down Leftist excesses until they can be made palatable to the public through academy and media programming.
There is no Right. There is just “not the Left.” Being on the Right today is the same as being a Protestant in the 16th century: No one agrees on anything, they just know they’re not Catholic.

I once sold a truck to a guy who called and agreed to pay full price as long as I brought it to the airport within the hour. It was incredibly sus, but my truck had been for sale for months, and I had grown desperate. So I went. It only got weirder. The moment I arrive he hops in the drivers seat for a test drive, and a run to the bank to get the money to buy it. He’s a freakishly large porcine fellow, adorned head to toe in dirty work clothes. He looked like Hagrid if he were an alcoholic with a the world’s most unionized construction job. We get to chatting on the drive. Work, life, conspiratorial ramblings, Donald Trump, Pakis. The usual, if you know this type of guy. I come to learn he needed to buy my truck to get home. He had bought a one way plane ticket to come buy a different one, but had been ghosted by the seller when he landed. He was stranded at an airport on the other side of the country with no other plan. So I thought, “well maybe I know the guy who ghosted him. Let me see if I can help.” I asked to see his phone to read his FB Marketplace message with the seller. He had been talking to some guy with Broken English and a vaguely middle eastern sounding name for several days now. The guy was selling an incredibly desirable truck for 30% below market. A virtually impossible deal. The vehicular equivalent of a horny singles in your area add on a porn site. He turned to me and said “y’know, his listing says the truck is about an hour from here, maybe I should go look for him.” I said “bro I’m looking at his profile, he has this same truck listed in every city in North America. The plate in the photos isn’t even from our state. This truck is spammed hundreds of times across marketplace.” To which he replied, “yeah I thought that was weird. I think it’s a glitch.” “No it’s not a glitch… you didn’t send him money did you?” I asked, fearing the answer. “Yeah I sent him a money, otherwise he was gonna sell it to another guy.” I winced. “how much?” “Five thousand bucks.” “……okay.” “Well let’s look him up, we have his name.” He replies confidently. “Look him up where?” I ask. “Facebook” “I’m looking at his Facebook. It’s not real.” Just then we arrive at the bank, he parks my 2500HD in the handicap spot at a 45 degree angle. I say maybe we should pick a different spot, he tells me he isn’t picky. We set up the wire transfer, he makes a disparaging remark about brown people to the teller. She frowns, she is brown. The money luckily still gets sent. And he takes off in the truck. Hours later he calls me from the middle of nowhere. He had decided to fuck with the aftermarket tuner while driving and bricked it. He was stranded. I don’t think all you xitter users realize just how difficult the modern world already is for an 85IQ person to navigate. With 53% of youtube shorts views now coming from AI content, these people are about to be thrust into a completely incomprehensible dream realm forever.
