Have you ever thought about becoming Catholic? Perhaps you’ve been coming to Mass with your family for some time, were baptised in another Christian tradition, or simply want to find out more about the Catholic faith.
Our new RCIA programme begins this Thursday, 22 October at 7.00pm at St Augustine’s.
RCIA is for adults interested in becoming Catholic and for those baptised in another Christian tradition who wish to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church.
There is still time to join us. Speak to one of the clergy after Mass or contact the Parish Office for more information: [email protected]
The People’s Pantry is open this evening from 6.00pm–7.30pm, offering free food support to anyone who needs it.
There is no referral required — simply come along and we will provide a free bag of food for you and your household. We just ask that people make one visit per week so that we can support as many households as possible.
Please share this post with anyone who may benefit. Everyone who comes along will be made very welcome.
The National Family Conference takes place this coming Saturday, 24 October, with St Augustine’s Parish Centre, Coatbridge.
The conference runs from 9.30am until 5.00pm, bringing families together for a full day of activities and events.

One week to go until we welcome our new Primary 1 children and their families to a very special Mass at St Augustine’s.

After Mass, everyone is invited upstairs to the Parish Centre for Sunday Brunch, and every Primary 1 child will receive their own little Jesus teddy to take home with them.
One week to go until the National Family Conference!
Married couples and families are warmly invited to St Augustine’s Parish Centre, Coatbridge, on Saturday 24 October for a day of prayer, encouragement and growing together in faith.

Let’s keep these children in our prayers as they begin this beautiful journey towards receiving their next sacrament.
