When I left Islam, I committed apostasy. I was dehumanized and tortured for it. I couldn’t believe the evil my own people were capable of. @liamtuffs1 asked a Muslim on his podcast: “so if someone left Islam, you’d kill em?” His response confirms what happened to me.

Word has just come down that St. Paul’s Cathedral in London—the second most important church in the Anglican world—has imitated Canterbury Cathedral in permitting “raves,” nightclub-like entertainments, to take place in its confines. The usual reasons for acquiescing to this have been trotted out: reaching out to the young, trying to get with the times, etc. But this development simply shows that the leadership of the Church of England has lost any sense of the crucial distinction between the sacred and the secular. Across the centuries and across the cultures, our ancestors seem to have intuitively grasped the importance of this demarcation. Whereas the secular is the arena of ordinary experience and activity, the sacred is another realm, a different dimension. Accordingly, in the properly sacred space, one is lifted out of the conventional and introduced into the numinous. This is why Christian cathedrals are filled with images of the saints and angels and why their interiors are meant first to disorient us and then to reorient us toward the divine. It is also why, in the initiation rituals of primal peoples, a young person is purposely ripped out of the ordinary and introduced into the mythic and mystic dimension. And it is why, throughout the Bible, sacred spaces are carefully set apart from common spaces. The contemporary West is, quite literally, the first culture in human history that is in danger of collapsing the sacred into the secular, or better, losing any sense of the difference between the two. This is doing enormous damage, especially to young people, whose lives have been flattened into a preoccupation with money, worldly success, and material things. The Church indeed should go out into the secular space to find those who have wandered away from God, but it should then lead those wanderers back to the holy. Having “raves” in the nave of one of the most sacred spaces in the Christian world is, I’m sad to say, another sign of our pitiful surrender to ideological secularism.

JUST PASSING THROUGH: Breaching what was once considered the most heavily defended airspace on earth, a Ukrainian AN-196 ‘Lyutyy' strike drone sails undisturbed over downtown Moscow. And in broad daylight, too.

In a recent interview, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, former grand chancellor of the John Paul II Institute on Marriage and Family Life, confirmed the worst suspicions that many of us had. He admitted that the changes he made at the Institute during the Pope Francis years were designed to initiate a "very profound" reform of the idea of the natural law. Instead of absolute moral norms grounded in a keen understanding of the basic goods, he and his colleagues were proposing a moral theory rooted in historical discernment of subjective and cultural experience--not an "armchair theology" but one operating "within history and within people's lives." This, of course, is the language of trendy postmodernism, and it is dangerous indeed. Allow me to illustrate the principle with one example. Is slavery wrong? Intrinsically wrong? Wrong no matter what public opinion polls say about it, no matter what the current consensus on it might be? I imagine any decent person would say yes. But that yes is predicated upon precisely what the tradition calls the natural law and the basic goods. There are some values so fundamental that acts repugnant to them are by their very nature wicked. If you want a highly articulate presentation of this idea, go to St. John Paul II's Veritatis Splendor. If we say that this is just "armchair theologizing" and that morality is a function of ever-shifting cultural and experiential data, then why couldn't slavery be justified? One of the very smartest persons that ever lived, the philosopher Aristotle, thought it was; extremely bright and morally upright persons in our country, well into the 19th century, thought it was permissible. Who is to say whether the consensus might shift back again? Who is to say that "lived experience" might come to justify it? What any truly coherent moral program requires is the very thing that Archbishop Paglia and his colleagues were endeavoring to eliminate, namely, absolute moral norms. Ridding ourselves of these in the name of freedom or pastoral sensitivity actually renders moral discourse dysfunctional, just as relativizing the basic principle of logic would render any rational conversation impossible. The Archbishop's interview, frankly, reminded me of the discussions I had at the Synod on Synodality with some of my German colleagues. Under the rubric of the development of doctrine, they were eager to relativize or radically change the principles undergirding classical morality. If this was and is truly the game, we have ventured onto perilous seas. Link to the article below.

Russia's flagship state television channel and one of the Kremlin's main propaganda outlets, Russia-1, broadcast a QR code linking to a fundraiser for FPV drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to viewers across all of Russia while airing a segment about Serhii Sternenko.

The beast does not merely want your vote. It does not merely want your silence. It wants your will; every tyranny from the Gulag to the soft tyranny of distraction, begins by training men to surrender interior freedom. Fear, comfort, endless noise. See my latest YouTube video

In this month of May, let us remember that Fatima was not given so Catholics could become sentimental about Mary. It was given as a warning. A warning about Russia. A warning about apostasy. A warning about priests, bishops, popes, nations, and the cost of unbelief.

KYIV—The White House's new national security paper vindicates what I have been warning and confirms my messaging was right all along. There are two main points in this paper that we've been continuously addressing: 1) Yes, US wants to remain a dominant military and industrial power with whomever will seem to be true allies. Our message has been: UKRAINE IS THE KEY ALLY FOR DECIDING THE FUTURE OF WARFARE AND FOR THE SECURITY OF FREEDOM. But Ukrainian leaders have NOT been making this case! 2) Yes, US sees European weakness and self-destructionist policies as a huge liability. Our message has been: This is absolutely correct and there needs to be a great European awakening. The elite bureaucratic "liberal/left" had FOUR years to solve this sh*t. They failed, because as always they focus on Process rather than Results. So I'd say with urgency it's time to double down on our tow core messages: —Ukraine is the best American ally —Europe needs to wake the fuck up If you get in the way of sharing this message, you are de facto helping Russia. And, just as so many of you have been so lovingly hateful toward me for my resistance, so shall I be to anyone who gets in the way of what is needed for victory for Ukraine and the free world.

Garry Kasparov: Four years Ukraine is fighting for the whole Europe. NATO was built to fight only one war, not to go to Afghanistan, not to go to Syria. One war to save free Europe from Russian aggression. Ukraine is the only country that is fighting this war and we're still discussing should we include them or not? Ukraine is the only country that is fulfilling NATO's destiny. Putin, Xi Jinping, all others, they are celebrating it. And by the way, Russia has North Koreans, they have Cubans, they have Africans, volunteers. And we're still talking about escalation? We have everything, military, political, economic powers on our side, and we're still losing the war. Thanks to Ukraine, Russia is not fulfilling Putin's dream of restoring a Russian empire. But if, God forbid, Ukraine is forced to make this deal, then, very clear, Putin will realize his dream. And then, guys, you're next - @Kasparov63

How did the USA and NATO fail Ukraine? Because here is the uncomfortable truth: if the United States stopped cooperating tomorrow, Europe would have almost nothing left to send in meaningful quantities. The entire system has been built on the assumption that America will always fill the gap...but America never actually opened the vault. Meanwhile: The U.S. has hundreds of Abrams tanks sitting in boneyards… and Ukraine received only 31. The U.S. has thousands of M113s parked in storage lots collecting dust… and it is cheaper to ship them overseas than to keep maintaining them. The U.S. has stockpiles of vehicles, guns, F-16 aircraft, and equipment mothballed across deserts and depots… gear that will never be used by the American military again. All of this could have been delivered immediately, at scale, in 2022. It was not. Instead, Ukraine was fed a slow drip...just enough to survive, never enough to win. If victory had truly been the goal, the West would have emptied storage depots, reopened production lines, and flooded the battlefield with everything needed to break Russia’s military. That is how you win wars. That is how you save lives. That is how you stop an invasion. But that is not what happened. And that reveals the real strategy: Keep Ukraine alive… but never let Ukraine actually win.

And @Keir_Starmer with @EmmanuelMacron and others saying that that plan should be discussed! They didn't check, they fell for it. Even Grok knows!

The US-Kremlin plan won’t just destroy Ukraine & endanger Europe — every dictator worldwide will read it as a message that aggression pays. Russia must lose, badly. European failure to show strength now & ensure 🇺🇦 victory will open a Pandora’s box of war.
