Um, all due respect, but screw your Sousa songlist. Here’s the only anthem you need with your barbecue and fireworks. From the LP Hang (2017), here’s Foxygen performing “America,” live-in-studio at @wfuv NYC. Talk about fireworks. @foxygentheband #foxygen youtube.com/watch?v=Qc2UWsoB…

Celebrating independence here by inviting you over to @bandcamp to download not one, not two, but THREE SOLO ALBUMS released by Sam this year: SAMIFESTO (recorded 2018), HOARSE GALORES (2019), and FAMOUS VAMPIRES (2020-21). HAPPY 4TH!! #samfrance #foxygen #foxygentheband

FOXYGENFAN TWITTER TUESDAY… on which we randomly pluck some of our fave Tweets re: the band through the years and share them here with you. Enjoy! 🙂 @foxygentheband #foxygen

Recently we posted this photo of Rado and Sam by Patrick Fraser for Les Inrockuptibles in 2013. Also in that article were these shots of guitarist Justin Neijssen and drummer Shaun Fleming. Note the gig poster above Shaun, under a set list in the final pic. Do you know the songs?

FOXYGENFAN TWITTER TUESDAY: One of the best things about Foxygen is: people have intense feelings about them. And it ain’t all warmth and affection. We'll occasionally share our favorite Tweets re: the band; names have been deleted to protect, well, us.😊 @foxygentheband #foxygen

A MUST-WATCH VID from our YouTube page: The music doc EVERY OTHER SUMMER, a chronicle of the 2015 Solid Sound Music Festival, and a (at that time) young band named FOXYGEN slaying!! @foxygentheband @foxygentheband #foxygen #samfrance #jonathanrado youtube.com/watch?v=SMAb3uA7…

This quote was published sometime around the release of 2019’s Seeing Other People. Can’t find its author now, perhaps a music reviewer, but we sure dig the sentiment. Happy weekend!! @foxygentheband @JonathanRado #samfrance #foxygentheband #foxygen

Shaun: Get well soon, hope you're feeling OK in PA from all of us back in CA! @DianeCoffee1 #dianecoffee @shaunfleming @foxygentheband #foxygen Photos: Gerard Kent, Oliver Walker.
