Realised today it's been 10 months since I've done anything "wrestling".
And nearly 2 years since my last show.
Very thankful to have been able to travel, train and entertain people. But the fact someone didn't even realise I'd stopped just showed I picked the right time.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

“I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived.”

Patrick Steward advocated for human rights, refugees, victims of domestic violence, LGBTQ+, and veterans his entire career. He was proud to use his platform to raise awareness and fight for those who wouldn’t. He was a talented actor and a good soul. Rest in peace, old friend 🤍

All at Huddersfield Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Sir Patrick Stewart. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this sad time.
A titan of his craft and a legend and hero to millions worldwide, his legacy will live on. Fiercely proud of his Yorkshire roots, Sir Patrick was a Terrier in every sense, and we’re proud to have counted him as one of our own.
Once a Terrier, always a Terrier 💙

Seeing cool people do really cool things is great. I'm extremely disconnected for everything and nobody asked me, but well done everyone.
I hope RevPro work with Odyssey/Alpha omega/whatever they're called now with their Morecambe show.. Morecambe is a great wrestling town
Wrestling appears to have gotten a lot cooler since I hung up the elbow pad...
... Not saying the two are related but data IS data
Thanks to @T_K0W for looking after me last night.
It was very humbling to see I'm remembered, for the good and the bad 😅
Thanks again everyone
