🧵This year's Kretescon has come to an end a few days ago and, as always, I'm only now starting to go back to regular activity. That's how good the event is.😄Let's do a small summary.
Something I saw there also inspired me to consider a bit of a change in course for my professional gamedev. For now I'll still sit on it some more, but Hydra Enchantress might go into the freezer in favor of a different game. The only question is how will they compare time-wise.
Here's a result of the game jam after some polish. The puzzle possibilities in this baby are amazing.

Also: as of right now I'm on my way to Kretescon, where I'll be presenting new content for my first game and making a small dive into Godot Engine.

[1/4] Time for the promised big status update. There's quite a few things to go over, so thread it is.
The best mole in gaming for attention.
[3/4] Next, the status of Odkop / Unearthing. While there was progress over the year, I'm afraid it is only a minimal progress. Don't worry, it WILL be finished (and I'll send some clips soon), but life keeps butting in. That, and I must focus on my newest project...
Hi! It's been awhile. Don't worry, soon I'll resume regular posting (the reasons are something of a mixed bag). For now - enjoy a little interview I've been invited to from our Romanian friends.🇷🇴
btw: It's so hard to find memes in English in this fandom.

#MerryChristmas! Best tidings to all of you, my followers! May you find happiness whenever you feel down. Here's something to cheer up those who somehow are sad on this day. 😁
If you are wondering: yes, I'm still all over Silksong. I have a feeling though that I'm nearing the end. Apparently I tackled harder/frustrating bosses before the easy and fun ones. 😑
Very good lighting in a game can make a world of difference and if you add some effects on top... Watch master at work below.
Alright, so - while I'm still having fun with Silksong, there are some serious balance issues. While I approve of higher difficulty than in HK, at some points said difficulty comes from unfair design. Double boss damage with such limited healing makes the game unforgiving.
After Lace I encountered one brick wall after another. Traps etc. help and I'm pulling through, but achievements will be another Path of Pain.
HK was hard on Steel Soul mode. Silksong was made to be near impossible.
