Three basslines from the late '70s. Big decade of inspiration so this one focuses on the beginnings of post-punk and new wave. Joy Division, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello & The Attractions. Plenty more from this decade. Tell me yours. #joydivision #talkingheads #elviscostello

The Cure. Joy Division. The Clash. Three basslines from the 80s that still teach me how to play.

This Juno-60 literally wrote half the 80s 😎 Old circuits just know where the song wants to go. It’s ended up on basically every new track I’m working on lately. What’s your favorite vintage synth secret weapon? 🎹✨ #Juno60 #AnalogSynth #SynthVibes #IndieMusic #SparklyEyeMusic

Getting mildly obsessed by this guy at the moment. His name is @FoxFagan and his music takes me right back to my new age travelling days, especially "Let's Get Lost"...But OH those BASSLINES! Once again I ache for the days when I could still play myself... open.spotify.com/playlist/06…
