Pilots, Hotfix 1.004b is now available!
Thanks to your reports, we have identified and fixed some of the most critical issues affecting update 1.004:
- fixed the rendering of clouds and aircraft on AMD graphics cards;
- fixed dedicated server crashes when playing Ranked mode;
- fixed the saving of detailed sortie data in Career mode;
- fixed aircraft control commands being triggered unintentionally when opening the menu, briefing, or statistics screen in flight;
-added AI-controlled aircraft and other players’ aircraft to telemetry output.
We're continuing to work on additional fixes for the next update. Please keep sharing your observations: your feedback helps us prioritize our work on future updates.

On October 1, 1947, the XP-86 first flew. It was the prototype of the aircraft that would become the F-86 Sabre.
Its swept wings helped address one of the great challenges of early jet aviation: maintaining control as aircraft approached higher speeds. At the time, it was still experimental. Within a few years, the Sabre would become one of the defining aircraft of the air war over Korea.
The F-86A entered combat against the MiG-15 in late 1950. Their encounters became one of the most memorable chapters in aviation history - a chapter you can experience from the cockpit of the F-86A-5 in Korea. IL-2 Series.
Seventy-nine years after its first flight, the Sabre’s story lives on in the skies over Korea.
