Here again, we have a situation where Trump's total lack of message discipline puts his staff, and in this particular instance the Office of White House Counsel, in a bind where almost anything they say will be contradicted by Trump on any given day as he talks to the press constantly and without filter. These are very clearly politically motivated, so-called public service announcements aimed at juicing Republican turnout in November. The White House claiming that he is not on the ballot, and therefore this could not be political, is contradicted entirely by the fact that on the stump, Trump continues to tell everybody, "Pretend that I'm on the ballot." He is saying this because otherwise, people might not turn out due to the fact some deranged Republican voters only vote for Trump. Still, you cant hide behind the defense that Trump is not on the ballot, therefore this cannot possibly be a political campaign ad, when Trump himself is out there telling everybody to pretend he is. But they tried to assassinate him. They tried to put him in jail for the crimes he allegedly committed, as well as for the crimes he was deemed guilty of by a jury. He doesn't take a salary, and CNN, Politico, and MSNBC now treat him unfairly. They wouldn't even put his name on the Kennedy Center, at least not without making a huge fuss about it, and they tried to stop him from building his ballroom. Some people even complained when he unilaterally changed the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America. He can't even do something so obviously, unmistakably pro-America First? Come on.
