you can build your own home hardware studio for around $250.
a little corner of your house where you use AI to design something, then 3D print it on demand.
people are already making crazy stuff with this:
> custom chess sets. one guy used ChatGPT to help design a medieval army playing against the undead, then printed the pieces and a magnetic board
> replacement parts you can’t buy anymore. someone broke a discontinued latch on their truck, so they gave Claude photos and measurements, then printed a replacement that evening
> storage containers, toys, roman busts, miniature cities, costume props, custom cookie cutters, etc.
there’s just a ridiculous amount you can make with a little imagination and a roll of plastic
here’s what the basic printing setup costs:
> a beginner 3D printer like the Bambu Lab A1 mini costs $219
> a roll of plastic printing material is around $30
then here’s how you go from an idea to an actual object:
1. give Astra/Opus 5.5 your idea, along with any reference images, measurements, and details of whatever the object needs to fit
2. it generates the 3D design file (.stl)
3. open that file in your printer’s app, which turns it into printing instructions
4. hit print, and the printer makes the object real
so you can make the exact thing you need, even when nobody sells it.
i think these “home hardware studios” are about to become a major trend.
a lot of people who got hooked on vibe coding apps are about to get equally hooked on vibe coding physical things.

We gave Claude Opus 5.5 access to 12 laptops.
The task: turn one prompt into a complete launch video.
Using Computer Use and Higgsfield MCP, it:
> divided the work across every computer
> created the visuals, built the animations
> assembled a fully editable After Effects project.
This is what an AI-native motion studio looks like.
"Slop" has become a comfort blanket for a cohort of programmers stuck somewhere between anger and bargaining on their way to acceptance. There might be some kicking and screaming, maybe a little crying, but eventually you have to let the blanket go and update your priors.

Let that sink in: "it costs up to 30% less per task than its predecessor. It also generates output more than 30% faster, making it our fastest Sonnet model to date."
Same pricing compared to GPT-6-Sol, but much more efficient, much faster and - on top - much much better in general.
OpenAI has to release a crazy good model tomorrow. Anthropic is so freaking back. I think people dont fully grasp how crazy this us. Its just short to Opus 5.5 but much faster, cheaper.
Replying to @claudeai
Sonnet 5.5 is priced the same as Sonnet 5, but it typically needs far fewer tokens to do the same work. In our testing, it costs up to 30% less per task than its predecessor.
It also generates output more than 30% faster, making it our fastest Sonnet model to date.
This is bigger news than it appears
I’ve had early access to Sonnet 5.5 for a bit now and honestly at first I couldn’t tell the difference between this and Opus 5.5
It’s a fraction of the price of Opus, which already felt like you got an absurd amounts of usage out of for cheap
It’s clear Anthropic has had some sort of breakthrough the last month
The jump in intelligence, speed, and affordability of all their 5.5 models is maybe the biggest leap we’ve ever seen in AI
You need to be using this model for all your standard, fastball down the center work
With its speed and intelligence you’ll be shocked at how fast you get tasks done

It's kind of wild how many new primitives AI has given us in 3 years:
- Local models (2023: Llama, Ollama, LM Studio)
- Voice cloning (2023: ElevenLabs)
- Text to CAD (2023: Zoo)
- Text to video (2024: Sora, Veo, Runway)
- Real-time voice (2024: Gemini Live, ChatGPT Voice)
- Memory (2024: ChatGPT)
- Reasoning models (2024: OpenAI o1, DeepSeek R1)
- Vibe coding (2024: Bolt, Lovable, v0)
- Computer use (2024: Claude, OpenAI Operator)
- Connectors (2024: MCP)
- Deep research (2024: Gemini, Perplexity, OpenAI Deep Research)
- Agents (2025: Claude Code, Codex, Manus)
- Image editing (2025: GPT-4o images, Nano Banana)
- Agent payments (2025: x402, AP2)
- Skills (2025: Claude Skills)
- Personal agents (2026: Grokbot, Muse, Instinct)... we are here now.
Each one of these is a starting point for hundreds of companies.
The most interesting ones I'm seeing combine 2 or 3 of them with a specific niche!

Computer and browser use is so good.
It continues to be the most "feel the AGI" moment for me - especially when I'm see Chat operating multiple tabs in chrome along side me.

@stripe is already seeing traction in agents using WebMCP checkout
Shopping with an agent shouldn’t feel like watching paint dry. 🥱
Today, we’re launching WebMCP support for checkout, including Shop Pay, for all eligible Shopify merchants.

I'm becoming so MCP-pilled that I'm really starting to question... do we need an interface anymore?
For SaaS products that are essentially plumbing / routing, there will come a time where the UI is optional.

We believe superintelligence will create significant new opportunities for all people and businesses. Meta already serves billions of people at scale and helps hundreds of millions of businesses reach customers. Today we are starting the next major pillar of our business, Meta Enterprise Platform, to help businesses use AI to grow and transform in new ways as well.

Yesterday, my boys and I vibe coded a game together. They tell me what they want in their game and I prompt it into Opus 5.5 to build it.
And of course they picked "Zelda Breath of the Wild" inspired game, where they can explore an open world, do dungeon puzzles, fight mini bosses and a final boss. The twist is that the hero holds a giant paintbrush as a weapon, each color had a different attack and effect (red = fire, blue = ice, yellow = bounce, green = vines). And oh they also wanted to fly on the paintbrush.
We spent our whole saturday playing and iterating on the game. It was great fun.
I told them, the future is all about Imagination, whatever they can imagine, it will be manifested in a digital experience.
At the end of the day, the game had:
- 2 biomes (1 island and a bunch of floating islands)
- Paintbrush-based combat (4 colors representing different effects and mechanics)
- 3 dungeons with puzzles
- An undeground cave
- Unlockable flying paintbrush when you activate 4 crystals around the island
- 30+ enemies and elites
- 1 giant boss
As you can see in the gameplaye video below, its not the most polished video game but it's so satisfying to see my boys getting bewildered when whatever they asked for, the game is built before their eyes.
Of all the games I have vibe coded so far, this was the most satisfying because my boys were actively co-creating it and playing it.
This is definitely not the last game we're making together, they have already started brainstorming their next game, hint: "Peak with grappling hooks and TNTs."
You can play the game here, works only on desktop:

Qualitatively, there is now a larger gap between open & closed models than there has been in awhile. Fable/Astra class models are agentic in a way pre-Fable models are not, for better or worse. None of the open models have crossed that line, yet. When they do, it will be a jump.
