Our republic rests on the principle that we vote for the people who wield political power over us.
Powerful actors in other states around the country have tried to subvert that principle, and we have been fighting them every step of the way.
First it was California, trying to dictate electric semi-truck rules that would have had an enormous impact on prices in Nebraska and on Nebraska trucking companies. We sued and stopped them.
Then it was New York, trying to impose massive climate penalties on energy producers, which would have led to increased prices in Nebraska. We joined @mccuskeyforwv and other @RepublicanAGs, sued, and stopped them.
Now it is the City of Boulder, trying to export its own emissions policies to other states, including Nebraska, via the courts.
Whether they are stopped or not is up to the US Supreme Court.
We joined an amicus brief in support of the effort.
Nebraskans didn't vote for California regulators, New York legislators, or Colorado judges.
States are co-equal sovereigns, not regulators of one another.

What is going on with Fremont?

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter...
...because he was HOMESCHOOLED.
Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up.
His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.
Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.
He is doing the job. For free.
All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."
So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.
And in April, the city rejected him. Why?
Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.
That's it. That's the whole disqualification.
Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!
...how he was educated.
The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."
That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.
And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.
His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:
"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."
Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.
And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.
Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.
And this young man is the proof.
At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.
When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.
You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.
You will thank GOD he came.
Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:
"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."
That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.
Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.
Fix this.

President Trump had to take the heat over the conflict with Iran to move the center of geopolitics and the oil supply to the Western Hemisphere with minimal casualties, so YOUR children and grandchildren DO NOT have to fight and die in FOREVER WARS in the Middle-East as they have for decades.
Many of you are old enough to be my parents or grandparents.
I thought that as people get older, they’re supposed to get wiser.
What’s up with that?
God created human beings with brains, some people need to use it so we don't have to try to convince them with numbers, long ass posts, complex analysis, etc.
Just use that thing between your ears so you can see what the President is doing.
I am from Papua New Guinea, thousands of miles away. I should be paid for even doing this full time.
Step one: Open your eyes and ears
Step two: Start from the vision, see the policies and see the direction being set.
Step three: Just get out and vote for Republicans so the cycle STOPS in November.

I’ve seen several people suggest that Exxon is sabotaging the midterms by shutting down its refinery before the midterms, in an attempt to hurt republicans.
That’s a knee jerk reaction.
I actually think something much bigger is happening with this shutdown (likely temporary) and Trump isn’t worried about the midterms because they’re ALREADY safe in my opinion.
What’s the bigger possibility that nobody is talking about?
Step back and look at the bigger picture.
Trump has just taken away the cabal’s oil choke point in the Middle East and now he controls the oil supply in the Strait of Hormuz.
Then Trump made a massive deal with Venezuela, who sit on the largest oil reserves in the world.
Trump effectively controls the vast majority of the world’s oil supply now.
And here’s the KEY to that Exxon refinery shutdown:
Where does that Exxon refinery get its oil?
Answer: Canada
Guess what happens to the Canadian economy, the longer this refinery stays shut down?
Here’s what I believe is happening.
Carney is a puppet of the EU and Trump is going to force him to capitulate on a trade deal and lower their tariffs.
And it’s more than just forcing Carney to capitulate.
Canada supplies about 61% of oil imports to the U.S.
Mostly through Exxon.
Why?
Exxon owns 69.6% of Imperial Oil, which is Canada’s biggest refinery company.
Exxon dominates the Canadian oil import market in the U.S.
But things are changing quickly.
Guess where Chevron dominates?
Venezuela and the Gulf of America.
Venezuela is now the second largest oil importer into the U.S.
And growing.
The new Trump deal is helping Chevron and Valero to increase oil production AND refinery capacity, both in America and Venezuela.
Trump is “replacing” Canada’s oil “leverage” in these trade talks with Venezuela’s oil.
Trump is squeezing the Canadian economy and there’s nothing the EU can do to stop it.
Their puppet is helpless.
Trump is going to get a “great” trade deal with Canada and at the same time, Trump is creating “competition” for Canadian oil imports in the future.
Competition is what destroys centralized control and also prevents it again in the future.
Trump is “opening” up the oil supplies that were suppressed and controlled by the cabal and taking control, so that the American people benefit and so does the world.
Europe is no longer in control of anything.
NEW - An unknown power outage forced Exxon Mobil to shut down its Joliet, Illinois refinery, pulling 11 million gallons of daily fuel production offline as U.S. diesel climbs past $6 a gallon.

Why do I bring this up? Its the same three things over and over like a cultist doing a chant.
1) pedo/molester - Reid Hoffman. On the Epstein list. Most definitely what they love to accuse Trump about. Funds Dan Osborn’s campaign.
2) taking away farms for data centers - 90th and Dodge, in Omaha, has one of the first data centers in the world…ever. That’s not farmland. Oh, there’s another one in Omaha (of many btw). Its for a company called LinkedIn? Sound familiar? Who founded that company? Reid Hoffman.
3) how can he be for ICE when he married an immigrant - real immigrants, the ones who came here and went through the red tape, are mostly for kicking out illegals. Why? Because they followed the law and are not criminals. They contribute to society, not drain it, exploit it, or work behind the scenes to destroy it.
How do I know this? My wife is now a US Citizen after following the rules. She supports ICE as do I.
So, continue your little mantras of cultdom. The more you look like fools, the more the uninformed start actually looking into things and find the truth.
