Looks like Redekop is back in.

So far Knutt is losing in Ward 6 and Annunziata is losing in regional, otherwise all the incumbents are out in front.

Annunziata off to rough start in the regional race.

Redekop out to early lead but it’s close. These are the advance polls coming in.

I see @Oz10G has some different picks. We shall see.

It’s Election Day, so just for fun, here are my predictions (NOT endorsements) for how it’ll shake out: Mayor: Redekop Ward1: McDermott Ward2: Dubanow Ward3: Demizio Ward4: Butler Ward5: Lubberts Ward6: Knutt Regional: Annunziata

We’re all done here at the mayoral debate. I’m gonna declare Passero the winner (better answers, no questions dodged) but that’s just IMHO, the room seemed to be supporting Redekop more (or his supporters are just louder maybe)

Final question was some fluff about what makes you so great and why would you be awesome as mayor? Redekop: I’m a lawyer and I know stuff and I’ve been mayor for like a decade already Passero: I’m not a lawyer but I work hard

Next question is basically: my property taxes are high, what’s up with that? Redekop: fixing roads is expensive and the previous guy didn’t do it Passero: we still have cast iron water pipes and they are super expensive to maintain

Next question is... a second question about the lighthouse (moderator says it’s all anyone wants to talk about anyways so let’s just do it) Redekop: I would consider expropriating the road in the private community, take back access Passero: don’t expropriate don’t spend a penny

Next question is about letting builders clear cut woods. Passero: increase penalties on builders who cut too many trees Redekop: I’m not in bed with developers, I’m not in bed with anyone, err, not in bed with anyone I shouldn’t be (his wife Cathy in front row goes beat red)
