This has been a challenging year BUT I am giving thanks. I have been out of work since March BUT I start a new exciting job soon. We had three cars totaled BUT no one was hurt and we were able to get where we needed to go. I am glad I have my faith and rejoice in that.

James smoked a turkey breast in his new smoker today. Pastor shared that he thinks Heaven smells like smoked meats and I think he is right. My dad would be real proud of him and how his first try went.

On her birthday Princess opened her house for brinner (breakfast for dinner) to 20 of James fellow percussionists taking a much needed break from band camp.
