This is the moment I fell in love with motorsport. I was just a little kid sitting on the sofa watching it live, and the feeling it gave me was incomparable. To this day it’s still my favourite sporting moment ever. The full video with Italian commentary still gives me goosebumps nearly 17 years later.
no reference to compare to know if thats a competitive on used, seems good hope its not to much track evo though
i mean ngl if he nails the perfect lap first time on fresh tyres with no track limits i think there is pace for pole, the small little problem is that with how this car handles that might be possible once every 100 laps😭😭😭
ngl, i don't trust mclaren to make this car both fast and driveable, so me thinks we run it like this, slap a 10s penalty on us for track limits, we putting 30 on the field anyway 😤
People might hate on this but i can actually see it mclaren has failed to show his innate speed and talent for 4 years now, the mcl60, mcl38 and half a year the mcl39 all hindered his talent, we cant forget that for a staggering period of 9 races last year he showed his true pace, we cant judge him on the other 70+ races where he struggled that’s disingenuous cmon lando fans do better
Oscar Piastri's struggles in 2026 may have more to do with the McLaren MCL40 than his driving ability.
According to Andrea Stella, the car demands a much more aggressive driving style, forcing Piastri to abandon the smooth, precise approach that made him so competitive in 2025.
Lando Norris has adapted better, but McLaren believes Piastri's difficulties are technical rather than a lack of talent.

I like an excuse to get on my soapbox again.
