Colton Herta will not return to IndyCar for 2027 as he rejected an approach to drive for Chip Ganassi Racing. The American will likely do extra FP1 sessions with Cadillac in 2026 and 2027 to get his superlicense points. Herta is also not expected to do another year in F2 and will likely be Cadillacs reserve driver for 2027. Via (@marshallpruett)
