☎️Encrypted Peer-to-Peer Voice Calls coming in v0.5.0 Developers are currently testing while playing games all within the new Vector Widescreen Desktop client. It is still in the early stages, as there is more to refine for audio quality and privacy, but stay tuned for more!

Check out @VectorPrivacy, built on Nostr, @jack. - Fully Open-Source Codebase - Fully Open & Transparent Docs (docs.vectorapp.io) - Fully Built in Public since Day 1 with @JSKitteh and of course, No KYC & Censorship-Resistant Not an easy route, but we believe it should be the base standard. Let people have the freedom to choose what best fits their needs and solves their direct problems. Give them full access to see under the hood and high-level customization in terms of UX, yet not forced on the user to have to understand the complexity of the tech. vectorapp.io/blog/hrf-grant/

Not only is KYC a security and privacy risk, it is also a burden on the user experience. Believe it or not, Vector solved this issue by simply not implementing it. We recommend developers do the same... Don't implement a suboptimal system with an unnecessary point of failure.

There is a difference between telling people how something works versus letting them verify for themselves, even if it's beyond your level of understanding, ask your AI for assistance. This is why we open source, it removes the element of blind trust. Trying to shill a privacy product you not only have to pay for, but have to rely on their word on how it works and maintains privacy, then the Swiss authorities? Yeah, nah.
