Goodison Park was one of - if not the best ground in the country. Proper stadium. Felt like an actual football ground.

I wonder when BMD is going to give EFC any tangible benefit over Goodison? So far for me, we’ve moved to a worse ground with worse transport links. we’re still skint and shit and now play in a shiny stadium that’s lovely for opposition teams to come and ping it round.

I still feel it’s pretty repugnant that a club can’t spend its owners cash. Not saddle them with debt. Spend Cash. The whole rulebook needs ripping up and starting again. We had Usmanov sponsoring the portaloos ffs. Bonkers, anti-competitive system protecting a few.

A great story from these Cardiff lads from yesterday… They met a 77 year old Canadian woman on the train to Portsmouth and gave her a spare ticket. She spent the day with them and watched her first ever British football match. They said she loved it! 🙏 Fair play to these lot 👏👏
