Production breaks for a hundred reasons: a bad PR, a silent API timeout, or a legacy database lock.
But traditional monitoring tool just show a red spike, leaving your engineers to guess where the blast radius started.
Formatio fixes this.
How?
Nobody became a software engineer to write 200 lines of GitHub Actions YAML.
Maintaining CI/CD scripts is a massive, hidden drain on engineering velocity.
Your senior backend engineers spend hours debugging broken cache layers and fixing runner timeouts instead of building.
Zero deployment scripts required. Just push code and get an OTel-instrumented container running in your cloud.
Reclaim your sprint velocity: formatio.cloud
Formatio automates the delivery completely.
Connect your repository. We auto-detect your runtime and build your production-ready container via Nixpacks, Railpacks, or your custom Dockerfile.
Zero deployment scripts required.
Developers love PaaS simplicity, but engineering teams eventually outgrow it.
You start on a managed PaaS because it's easy. But as you scale, you realize you need AWS or GCP for compliance, VPC peering, and custom architecture.
1️⃣
You keep your cloud credits. You keep your data sovereignty. We just kill the CI/CD maintenance overhead.
Deploy without scripts, and debug without guessing :formatio.cloud
Formatio gives you the simplicity of a PaaS without hijacking your infrastructure.
We act as your delivery engine and incident context layer. We auto-build your code and instrument the pipeline with OTel, but we hand the container directly to your existing App Runner.
2️⃣
Your APM tells you that a server crashed. It doesn't tell you why.
When a 500 error fires, most engineering teams are forced into a scavenger hunt. You check Datadog for the spike. You check AWS for the container health. You check GitHub to see who merged code 15 minutes ago.
Because we orchestrate the deployment, our dashboard traces live production errors directly back to the ORIGIN. Whether it’s a bad Git PR, a 3rd-party API timeout, or an AWS config drift, we map the error to the source instantly
See what broke production: formatio.cloud
That context-switching costs you 45 minutes of Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) before you even start fixing the bug.
Formatio fixes this. We unified the delivery pipeline with native OpenTelemetry.
Production breaks for a hundred reasons: a bad PR, a silent API timeout, or a legacy database lock.
Whatever breaks production, Formatio gives you the exact context. In seconds.
This means 50-90% faster MTTR.
See what broke prod here:

Whether it's a code push, a broken dependency, or an external API failure, we give you the exact context instantly.
✅ Zero YAML delivery.
✅ 50-90% faster MTTR.
Eliminate the fragile middle.

Formatio is a unified delivery + incident context platform. Because our pipeline is natively instrumented with OpenTelemetry, we trace live production errors directly back to the ORIGIN.

Lexi is deployed on Formatio Cloud!
Free uninterrupted deployments.
No cold starts.

I had an idea for something fun recently and decided to build it.
That idea was Lexi.
Lexi is a Scrabble implementation that doesn't feel like it's from 2008 or trying to be a slot machine.
Two core pieces: a zero-dependency Python engine that owns every rule, and a FastAPI server that pushes full state over SSE to a frontend that never computes a score or validates a word. The client renders what it's told, nothing more.
No WebSockets, no accounts, no ads. Just two people, one board, a browser tab.

You can now update network records on @FormatioCloud without restarting the application!
The workflow feature for @FormatioCloud is now available for testing!
We currently have 2 nodes
- GitHub Event Listener
- Deploy (deploy target application(s))
More nodes to come and a lot more!

Now I understand why Google has a lot of tools (products) in-house and OSS.
I've been working on @FormatioCloud for the past 2 weeks now, it has been fun, I had to build an automation tool and I'm here planning another build for a real-time notifications service 🙂
