I am so freaking proud of this team & the coaching staff. Maybe this won't be the best team statistically, W-L, etc. but it sure has been the most fun for me.
So here's to the next half of the season and what *should* be a pretty impressive post-season as well.

I felt like every game was one we could lose and lose handily, even if we were heavily favored. It was a frustrating time to be sure.
But under Stein? I have never been calmer in my life while watching UK Football. We're behind? No sweat. We'll make adjustments and come back.
Talking with some fellow super longtime UK Football fans has brought up so many memories. The memories that involved football were mostly unpleasant, but the ones involving fans & fellow tailgaters were so sweet. Many friendships made with our misery in common.
But even in the best years for Stoops, I felt like I was watching every game with held breath. I was waiting for the floor to drop out from beneath me. I was waiting for disaster. I was waiting for the inevitable "locker room issues", and then all the stuff that proves we had...
And I do not for one second want to dismiss what Stoops did here during his tenure. We learned we *could* win 10 games in a season. We learned we *could* recruit SEC-level talent to humble little Kentucky. And we learned it was possible to make numerous bowl appearances.
I think Drama Llamas would be a more appropriate nickname than Wildcats! But hey, who cares?
