Year 3&4 residential trip. Last child to bed was at midnight but then awoken by pupils at 1:15am and 1:40am. First rumbles in of life and energy from dorms this morning was 5:30am so after checking in with everyone (all okay and lots of excitement) I’ve gone for a treble coffee!

My favourite part of the week is spending time with the youngest, smiliest, happiest and kindest children in school in our Early Years department 😎 Their independence and teamwork skills have developed incredibly this year!

Window Wednesday 👀 sending off our Years 5&6 on their residential trip to Willersley Castle for the rest of the week. Have fun everyone 😎

I don’t remember being tested with my times tables quite like this when I was 8 years old! Education has come a long way and at Forest Park we challenge our learners wherever possible (60 mixed questions within 3 mins) but also have fun along the way 🎶
