The Patriots had a rookie linebacker, Erick Hunter, playing gunner in Sunday's win. He made four special teams tackles. 6-3 224 lbs 4.48s 40 1.57s 10 37" vert 10'10" broad jump 4.21s shuttle 7.40s 3-cone 16 bench reps Mike Vrabel: "Thought he did fantastic. I thought Erick's really progressed every day since he's been here. I think Jeremy [Springer] and Tom [Quinn] have done a fantastic job of working with him in our special teams, and he's trying to work with our defensive coaches. A lot of new things for Erick, and he's willing, he's got a really good length and he can run. We just figured, as we get guys that are down, we need bodies or DBs have to play or go down, why don't we give Erick a try? He didn't disappoint."

Patriots QB Drake Maye on @TheGregHillShow report of issues with Mike Vrabel: "Coach Vrabel's been one of the best football coaches I've had in my life. I think one of the biggest things why this has been so enjoyable for me is playing for Coach, and I think we all feel that way in the locker room. He pushes us hard. I love playing for him, and it's not going to change, and it hasn't changed, and it won't change. The way he pushes me and coaches the quarterback in a way that I really respect, and I'm looking forward to getting going and proving to coach that we can, I can lead this football team and play good football."
