Now on draft: @ForbiddenRoot Purple Pils. #BohemianPilsner brewed w/ orris, chamomile & jasmine. Florentine iris (orris) root adds a deep, fruity violet note, merging w/ the brighter chamomile "juicy fruit" aromas. Jasmine adds a very subtle spicy/exotic note. 📷#ForbiddenRoot

Now available at Mac's: @ForbiddenRoot Peach Wit botanical beer. Brewers augment real peach purée with select botanicals: rose, chamomile, jasmine, mahleb, orris root, sweet osmanthus, and sour orange. It's juicy and delicious! #chicagobeers #chicagobars pic: #ForbiddenRoot

Last Monday @ForbiddenRoot switched their pub burger to a smash burger. Same giardinera Mayo, cheese went from white cheddar to white American, and the meat changed. Smash burgers are in right now and this one is excellent.

New year round beer from @ForbiddenRoot is Peach Wit. The peach shows up at the end but it’s definitely there. Nice dry finish. A very drinkable, nicely done beer.
