Apparently, after the Minority held a press conference raising concerns about the evacuation of 1,964 returnees, the Foreign Affairs team embarked on a five-day marathon exercise to counter the allegations with facts and evidence. They said they scrutinised documents, matched payments to names, contacted parents and guardians and verified records flight by flight. The team also said they worked from 7:30 a.m. until as late as 4:00 a.m, preparing their evidence ahead of Mr. Ablakwa’s scheduled interview to counter the allegations.
