Arthur managed a swift chrotle in response. "And that's alright by me. I don't believe you've given me your name." Neither has he officially, but it was on his badge that was clipped over his breast pocket. "Chief Arthur Pendragon." he mentioned with a hand outstretched.

"You, crying? I don't see it." a shake of his head became noticable.

Taking note of how Eddie brightened in posture, Arthur relied on a smile to release to the surface. It was genuinely a sweet factor of allowing others to speak what it was they enjoyed. How their eyes lit up brighter than the stars on occasion. "One of your favorites, is it?"

Show reference. The kid was making a show reference. Gods, Arthur. Get on your game! "Haven't watched it, personally." bounced the captain's shoulders once again.

A blurt of a singular laugh bursted from the lips of the chieftan. He wasn't expecting that sort of counter. "Know someone like that, do ya?"

"Probably, but my intuition has gotten me in a heap of trouble basing personas off of how someone appears." Arthur went on in a poorly joking manner. He never was one to have any sort of joking tone. "Perhaps you'll prove me wrong and actually break the law somehow."

That, he can truly get behind. "Most kids that find themselves jumbled in the system of the law have the cocky attitude thinking they run the world. You," he started again with a point of his finger in Eddie's direction, "don't. Which is refreshing."

"Why do you suppose so?" Arthur added with a slant of his head in retort. Seems the interogation side of Arthur's brain is still switched on from earlier events.

That was a very good way of putting it. "That's not always such a terrible thing. It's how you precieve yourself in the world not the other way around. Are you happy with how you are turning out?"

Chuckling over his babbles would be seen as rude and inconsiderate. But he did remind him of Merlin on some occasions. "Just what?" he completed with a delicate smile raising from his lips.

The attributes in which was showcased towards him did catch Arthur a little off guard. "Am I making you nervous?" he added swiftly. He shouldn't be. Was it the uniform? Probably was the uniform.

"Murder free is what I am for. Good lad." the cheif nearly teased with a huff of a chortle.

"Yep," he added with a bobble of his head for confirmation. "What's worse is that's a light story compared to some other ridiculousness that comes around the station. Did you end up getting your shamrock shake?"
